Article 1. Purpose

These Terms of Service set out the conditions and procedures for using Donup's account-based personal finance records and synchronization, budget management, AI-assisted entry, DonWorry AI financial assistant, and paid Donup Pro features.

You can review these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy on the sign-in screen. By continuing with Apple or Google to create or sign in to a Donup account, you agree to those documents.

Article 2. Service Description

Donup provides tools for recording and managing personal finance data, including income, expenses, budgets, recurring expenses, payment methods, notes, and photo attachments.

AI-assisted entry uses text, selected photos, or captured images supplied by the user to estimate and suggest information for a transaction entry.

DonWorry, the AI financial assistant, may generate spending summaries, budget comparisons, charts, and related questions based on questions selected by the user and the user's personal finance data.

Donup requires a Donup account created with Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. Supported devices and platforms signed in to the same Donup account can continue using synchronized data through Supabase.

Creating a Donup account and synchronizing entries, budgets, assets, payment methods, settings, and attachments are provided without requiring a Donup Pro purchase.

Existing CloudKit data may be migrated once into the Donup account used to sign in to this version. After migration, server originals are managed in the Supabase database and private file storage.

Article 3. User Data

The user is responsible for the accuracy, retention, and deletion of the personal finance data they enter.

Deleting the app or resetting a device may remove only that device's local copy and does not automatically delete server data in the Donup account. Users should keep a separate copy of important information by using data export or another suitable method.

Signing up separately with Apple and Google identities that have not been linked may create separate Donup accounts and separate data. Users should use the same Donup account or a sign-in method linked in the app across devices.

Users must not upload or enter material that infringes another person's rights, including personal information, payment information, or trade secrets.

Article 4. Donup Pro and Payments

Donup Pro is not required for basic account sign-in or basic data synchronization and applies to additional paid features such as those described below.

Donup Pro may include expanded access to AI entry from photos and camera captures, expanded DonWorry usage, premium themes, data export, and early access to new features.

Paid products are purchased through the App Store or Google Play billing system for the platform being used. The price and terms shown on the purchase screen and in the applicable store take precedence.

A store-verified Pro entitlement may be linked to the Donup account and recognized on other supported devices and platforms. Donup does not directly process payment card numbers or financial-account login credentials.

The monthly and annual plans are auto-renewable subscriptions. The lifetime plan is a non-consumable, one-time purchase that provides continued access to the supported Pro features.

New subscribers whose eligibility is confirmed by the App Store may receive a seven-day free trial with the monthly or annual plan. An introductory trial is available once per subscription group.

If the trial is not cancelled and any separate consent required by the store is completed, the selected plan renews at the regular price shown on the purchase screen after the trial. For free-trial conversions in the South Korean App Store, Apple requests consent by email, in-app messaging, or push notification. Subscription price increases also follow the applicable store consent process for the country or region. Without required consent, the subscription does not renew after the current period.

Article 5. Cancellation, Restoration, and Refunds

Monthly and annual subscriptions, including free trials, may be cancelled and managed from the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play account used for the purchase.

If a purchase is not shown after changing devices or reinstalling the app, the user may use Restore Purchases from the purchase screen.

Refund requests and approvals are governed by the refund policy and procedures of the App Store or Google Play where the purchase was made.

Deleting a Donup account does not automatically cancel or refund a store subscription. Users must separately manage the subscription in the store where it was purchased before deleting their account.

Article 6. AI-powered Features

AI analysis results are automated estimates and may differ from the actual merchant, amount, date, or category.

DonWorry responses are for reference and are based on personal finance data entered by the user. They do not provide a complete or guaranteed representation of the user's actual financial position or external account information.

Users must review and correct analysis results, including automatically saved entries. AI suggestions are not provided as accounting, tax, investment, insurance, or legal advice.

Free users may be subject to limits on the number of DonWorry responses. Donup Pro users may receive expanded access based on the purchase status verified in the app.

AI features may be delayed or temporarily unavailable because of an AI provider, network, or server issue.

Article 7. Prohibited Conduct

Making abnormal service calls or sending excessive requests through automated tools.

Bypassing or tampering with the app's security, payment, synchronization, or AI analysis processes.

Entering, attaching, or transmitting material that infringes another person's rights or violates applicable law.

Article 8. Changes and Suspension

Donup may change parts of the service to improve features, strengthen security, or meet operational needs.

Parts of the service may be limited because of failures or policy changes involving Supabase, Apple, Google, payment stores, or AI providers, network outages, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond Donup's reasonable control.

Article 9. Limitation of Liability

Donup does not guarantee any financial outcome resulting from decisions the user makes based on user-entered data or AI analysis results.

Except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, liability may be limited for loss caused by the user's device environment, Donup sign-in account or payment-store account status, or failures of external services such as Supabase, Apple, Google, or AI analysis servers.
